摘要
1.Birth of CALLNET in Shanghai,Feb 1984 Tim Johns of Birmingham University conducted aCALL workshop,the first in China,at Shanghai Jiaotong University.It went so well that the 24 partic-ipants,mostly EFL teachers from 15 universities and institutes,founded an association CALLNET withZhang Yanbing and the author as coordinators and Tim as consultant.Tim brought the news to the Chi-nese University,Hong Kong,and Herbert Pierson joined in.
