摘要 为提高非英语专业学生口头表达能力和跨文化交际能力,我校开设了英语演讲选修课。作者在思考并总结本校学生英语综合运用能力薄弱的基础上,提出了纠正语音、观看模仿、命题演讲、即兴演讲和英语演讲比赛五项教学措施,用于实践,并取得了一定成效。 In order to promote non-English majors' oral English skill and intercultural communication ability, public speaking optional course has been integrated into English curriculum in my college. This paper, on the basis of reflection and conclusion on the students' poor ability to apply English, presents five teaching methods: pronunciation correction, video viewing and imitation, prepared speech, impromptu speech and English competition, which prove to be effective after being put into practice.
