Research progress in the NPC diagnosis used by EBV antigens

EBV is an important factor leading to NPC. The early diagnosis of NPC is very important to treat NPC. In the EBV life cycle, it produces many different antigens. These antigens are exploited to be used as serological marker for the diagnosis of NPC. This paper reviews the recent research progress in using the EBV polypeptides to diagnose the NPC. The sensitivity and specificity of each polypeptides as serological markers to NPC are summarized.
