Quicken the Reform in Engineering Education to Train Up-to-date Engineers and Technicians

在分析了我国院校工程教育的现状与存在的问题的基础上,提出了面向21世纪的院校工程教育的改革思路是“面向工程,稳定规模,调整结构,提高质量”。办学模式要多样化,各类学校在不同层次上办出特色。

On the basis of an analysis of the current situation of and problems in engineering education in China,a proposal is made that the reform in the engineering education towards tbe 21st century be carried out along the guideline of “orientation towards engineering,stabilization of scale, adjustment of structure and improvement on quality”. Universities and colleges of all types should have distinguished features of their own at different levels under diversified modes of school management.
