With the curriculum of Engineering Chemical Basis for a background,and on the basis of multimedia techniques,this paper makes an analysis and discussion about the necessity of establishing the multimedia material base of chemical problems in engineering,the principles of choosing materials,the methods of setting up a material base,and the application of material base in teaching.
