In this letter. we report that oxidation of 4-aminothiophenol self-assembled monolayeron An electrode produces a couple of redox current peaks with close peak potentials in 0.5 mol/LHCIO4 aqueous solution, and the peaks are ascribed to an electroactive monolayer.Electrochemical properties of the monolayer polymer were investigated with use ofelectrochemical quartz crystal microbalance and cyclic voltammetry.
