The library has elaborated special cultural functions in the human social development. However, with the rise of knowledge economy, the traditional function has to face strong challenge. On the basis of explaining the traditional, the article presents innovations in the library culture function, and expound the concrete ways to realize them under the condition of knowledge economy.
