Based on the theory of construction reliability,the reliability calculating formulas for deep slide stability of gravity dam are deduced.The calculation results of practical engineering indicate that the effect of various kinds of random varibales on stability of slide stability are different.Accordingly,the designer can take the most effective engineering measures.
