摘要
从Taylor理论出发,讨论了液态金属离子源(LMIS)发射圆锥的形成及其条件,并讨论了LMIS发射机理及离子束的特性,发现场蒸发是离子产生的重要原因,热蒸发中性离子的场电离是第二重要的离子产生机理.
The formation of the emitting cone of liguid metal ion sources (LMIS) is discussed with the theory of Taylor.The emitting mechanism of LMIS and the properties of the ion beam are discussed.We find that field evaporation is the main current generating mechanism and that field ionization of thermally evaporated neutrals may make a significant,but not dominant.
