Introduces construction characteristic of four main components-----pump, power supply,piping and control systems of new molten metal delivery system for cold chamber die casting machine. The pump body primarily consists of two concentric refractory cylinders, and has not moving parts. The power is a 1 200 Hz single-phase unit. The piping system consists of a steel outer pipe and two concentric refractory liners, and is heated seperatly by the single-phase 110 V power in five zones. Control system has four main components: the programmable logic controller (PLC), the pumping system, metal level sensor and the piping system. The key innovation of the control system is the level sensor. Using this delivery system, the melt is not expose to air, and produced castings will benefit from a dramatic reduction in oxide formation and absorption of hydrogen.
