Problem on Traffic Safety of High Grade Highway in the Initial Period of Opening to Traffic in China

基于中国高等级公路通车初期交通事故的调查与分析，根据中国高等级公路的发展规划，提出应加强中国高等级公路通车初期的交通安全规划工作，从人、车、路、管理和交通环境等方面，加强对中国高等级公路通车初期的交通安全管理，提高高等级公路的行车安全，尽可能使高等级公路的效益得到发挥。

Based on the survey and analysis on the traffic accidents occurred on the high grade highway in China in the initial period of opening to traffic, and the development program for the high grade highway in China, it is proposed in this paper that the planning as well as menagement of traffic safety for the high grade highway in China in the initial period of opening to traffic should be strengthened in respect of personnel, vehicle, road, advertisement and traffic environment so as to enhance the traffic safety on the high grade highway and bring about the maximum benefit from the highway.
