党的十五大是一次具有里程碑意义的会议，是邓小平理论的实际运用．高校政治理论课作为传播马克思主义的主渠道、主阵地，就是要紧紧围绕着邓小平理论这个主题和灵魂，始终坚持理论联系实际的马克思主义学风，不断改善教学内容和教学手段，同时要把党的第三代领导集体治党治国的思想纳入教学，增强学生“高举旗帜，维护核心”的自觉性和坚定性．而且作为学生政治思想的领路人，政治理论教师一定要成为学习和实践邓小平理论的模范。

The 15th plenary session of the CPC Party is a milestone. It's the practical utilization of Deng Xiaoping's theory. Working as main channel and place to spread Marxism, the course of political theory in colleges and universities should centre on Deng Xiaoping's theory, insist on Marxist study style of integrating theory with practice, improve the content and teaching method, at the same time put into teaching the thought of administering the Party and China collectively by the political leaders of the 3rd generation and develop the students' self-consciousness and resolution in' holding the banners high and guarding the core of the party 'as well serving as a guide to lead the students in political ideology, the teacher should become an example in leading and carrying out Deng Xiaoping's theory.
