摘要
Abstract Objective To evaluate the effectiveness of rehabilitation therapy after zone Ⅱ flexor tendon repair. Methods Rehabilitation therapy was conduced in 21 cases of zone Ⅱ flexor tendon rupture after surgical repair. 21 cases of zone Ⅱ flexor tendon injury treated in the past without rehabilitation were taken as control. In 3 months of the operation, total active motion (TAM) of the involved fingers and muscle strength of the flexors of the fingers were measured. Statistic analysis of the data of the rehabilitation group and the control group was made. Results TAM and muscle strength of the rehabilitation group were stgnificantly higher than that of control. The receovery of hand function was much better after rehabilitation. Conclusions Early rehabilitation therapy plays an important role in functional restoration of the hand after tendon repair.
