摘要
夏南牛是我国自主培育的第一个肉用型牛品种,其平均BPI公牛为5.96 kg/cm,母牛4.27～4.40 kg/cm,均达到BPI划分肉/役牛经济类型的专门化肉用型牛的要求,从而构成了确证BPI方法的新的典型例证,表明BPI法具有适用性和可接受性。联系到BPI具有较高的遗传力,BPI方法可以作为衡量选择和培育专门化肉用型牛的必要条件。
XIA-Nan beef breed is the first special beef-purpose-type-cattle breed developed in china, XIA-Nan＇s BPI averaged.♂ 5.96 kg/cm,♀4.27-4.4 kg/cm which are in keeping with BPI mode ,and that, XIA-Nan is a illustration of suitability and acceptability with BPI mode Because the heritability（h2）of BPI（Beef-Purpose-Index BPI or weigh to height ratio of cattle body ） estimated for rather higher, BPI＇S mode could be as a selecting essential condition when special beef type breed would be developing and breeding.
