IT has been found that heat shock proteins (hsp) exist universally in animals, plants, microbesand human beings. Some of hsps possess functions of molecular chaperons, such as hsp60,hsp70 and hsp90, which participate in folding and assembling polypeptides to functional struc-tures and transferring them into suitable sites. They also undertake repairing damaged cellularDNA and nucleolus. Therefore, they are house-keeping proteins and play an importantrole in maintaining normal cellular life and functions and in cellular response to environmentalstresses. There exists high homology in DNA sequence among the hsp of the same molecularweight across species. We have first reported the close relationship between hsps
