Prospects of electronic commerce as viewed from the development of INTERNET

本文在考察互联网、国际互联网的产生和发展的基础上，着重分析以国际互联网为依托的国际电子商务产生的条件、优势发展前景及其对世界经济发展的影响，并论述了我国信息产业面临的机遇和挑战。

On the basis of investigating the origin and development of interconnection networking. with emphasis on INTERNET upon which electronic commerce depends for its existence , this paper makes an analysis of electronic commerce with a view to exploring the background for its birth , its superiority , its favorable prospects and its influence upon world economic development. Also , the challenges and chances that confront China's information industry are discussed.
