在湖沼型血吸虫病流行区用青蒿琥酯预防日本血吸虫感染的现场研究

STUDY ON PREVENTIVE EFFECT OF ARTESUNATE AGAINST INFECTION DUE TO SCHISTOSOMA JAPONICUM IN AN ENDEMIC MARSHLAND AREA

为了观察青蒿琥酯预防日本血吸虫感染的效果和优化服药方案，1996年4－11月，选择湖沼型血吸虫病重度流行的安徽省贵池市唐田乡2个村为试点。结果口服青蒿琥酯323人的粪检血吸虫卵阳性率为0．31％，无血吸虫急性感染发生；对照组323人的粪检血吸虫卵阳性率为9．60％，平均EPG为4．00±3．50，出现急性血吸虫感染1例。用药前后对肝、肾功能、网织红细胞和心电图检查未见明显变化。结果表明在感染季节每半个月口服青蒿琥酯1次，对湖沼型重度血吸虫病流行区人群有较好的预防作用。

To study the preventive effect of oral artesunate and optimize the programme of administration of the medicine,two villages in marshland areas,in Tangtian Township,Guichi city,Ahhui Province were selected as the pilot of study from April to November in 1996. The resultshowed that 1 case among 323 target villagers in the artesunate group was positive (0.31%) by the stool examination,while in the control group, 30 cases among 323 target villagers were positive (9.60%),in which EPG was 4.00±3.50 by Kato-Katz method. There was,statistically,significant difference between both groups. 1 case of acute schistosomiasis was found in the control group,but none in the artesunate group. The blood and urine routine tests,the hepatic and renal function tests and EKG were detected after the last administration,no abnormal changes were found. The result indicates that the preventive administration of artesunate of 6mg/kg repeated every 15 days during the transmission season has a promising preventive effect for the villagers in the heavily endemic area of schistosomiasis in marshland.
