Wuzhou City is a long-standing passage to the seas at the eastern end of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.It borders Guangdong Province and is close to Hong Kong and Macao.The Guijiang and Xunjiang rivers flow into the Xijiang River,a tributary of the Pearl River and converge into the South China Sea.Therefore, Wuzhou Port is one of China's 10 major river ports.It has established commercial intercourse with 100-plus countries and regions across the 5 continents.The gross export value of Wuzhou amounts to 50% of that of Guangxi. Recently,the new secretary of CPC Guangxi Committee,Cao Bochun toured Wuzhou for an inspection and discussed the issues of accelerating the development of Wuzhou with local cadres and masses.
