摘要
成都是四川省的省会,全省政治、经济、文化中心,是国家首批公布的历史文化名城,西南地区的科技、商贸、金融中心和交通、通信枢纽,国家批准的对外开放城市和全国综合配套改革试点城市。成都地处四川“天府之国”腹心地带,面积1.24万平方公里,平均海拔500米。全市辖19个区、市、县。总人口980多万,非农业人口310多万。
Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province,is a famed historical and cultural city,the only one in China whose name and location has remained unchanged for 2,000 years and more.It is the scientific, commercial and financial center as well as the transportation and telecoms hub in Southwest China. During the 9th Five-Year Plan period,Chengdu will implement the strategy of sustainable development by readjusting the industrial structure and opening wider to the outside world in order to speed up the economic growth and social progress.
