文物古迹是我们祖先勤劳和智慧的结晶。在经历了岁月无情地侵蚀之后,如何运用现代科技手段来保护这些珍贵的历史文化遗产,已成为全球性的一项迫切任务。越来越多的科技工作者正为此孜孜不倦地追求和奉献着。马家郁先生便是其中一位成绩突出的优秀专家。
Mr.Ma Jiayu,the director of Sichuan Provincial Museum and the director of the Cultural Relics and Archaeology Research Institute has been engaged in cultural relies preservation for 3 decades and more.He successively organized and participated in the repair, consolidation and all-round protedtion of a large number of historic sites including Dazu Grottoes,Leshan Mountain Buddha,Potala Palace and Dhazhao Lamasery in Lhasa, Tibet.He has scored great cachievememts in the research on the pest control techniques and protection of bas-reliefs on precipices,grottoes and frescoes.Thus,he won the honorable title of the national young and middle-age expert with outstanding achievements.
