In February and August 1996, I was invited to Sigapore by the World's Chinese Photographers Association. Our mission there was to cover the garden city, its hygienic conditions and traditional values since ancient times. The mission met its climas at the ceremonies to celebrate the 31st anniversary of Singapore's National Day. Approximately 200 Chinese cameramen have captured various exciting scenes in around the country, the most spectacular of which was found inside the Singapore National Stadium capable to hold 60,000: magnificent group performances vividly presented what Singapore was like and what she will be in future.
