Cloth Patchwork is a kind of old but novel picture. A traditional cloth patchwork expresses a decorative effect while a new one reproduces the style and features of real life in the form of exaggeration. A Sichuan artist, Ms. Gou Xingqiong's cloth patchworks'Chinese National Dances-56 pictures'and 'Chinese National Customs-50 pictures' portray numerous lifelike figures. Ms. Gou underwent a lot of frustrations and eventually became a qualified artist through self-education. In recent years, she is seriously sick and her husband is also suffering from hemiplegia of apoplexy. Even so, she respectively published some 800 pieces of works in Chinese and foreign magazines. Her cloth patchworks as well as her indomitable spirit radiates splendor.
