Thoughts of Contemporary Fine Arts Eduction in China

我国现在的中小学美术教育以及高等美术教育,基本上是以技能训练作为主要的内容。这种纯“绘画性目的”的教育观念和教学方式所存在的一种巨大的片面性,就是从根本上把丰富性、多样性、综合性的美术教育等同于一种单一性的艺术训练。

In view of the present conditions and problems of fine arts education in China, author holds that both the concrete tasks and objectives of fine arts education in college or academy should proceed from the Surpainting Purpose -- a modern terms of fine arts education, recogni -zing again the significance of fine arts education and fulfilling relevant measures. And so, the proper position of fine arts education could be established fundamentally, and then its real value realized at all.
