The Chang'e 1 satellite hit the moon surface at 1.50 degrees south latitude and 52.36 degrees east longitude at 4:13 pm Beijing time on March 1,2009 after completing its 16-month mission.The onboard CCD camera sent back clear real-time pictures during the impacting process.
