The author analyzes the preset agriculture in the suburbs of Pingdingshan, pointsout its main problems, and suggests the following efficient methods and ways to make the suburban agricultue to keep up a steady development - giving full play to regional advantages, controlling population increase, making proper use of land resources, and revising the structure of agricultural production.
