South Xinjian CuAuAg Metallogenic Belt is located near theboundary between Jiangnan Terrane and Cathysia Terrane. It has the cathysia type of crystalline basement, and experienced basin opening(rifting) for three times and the basin closing for three times since Proterozoic age. In correspondance with the structural evolution the belt has developed three sets of oreforming rock series and happened reformed metallization for three times. The emplacement of large deposits has been controlled by the crossing of many different geological factors.
