ON MODERN PUBLIC-RELATION LANGUAGE AND THE PRINCIPLE OF ITS USAGE

本文结合实例论述了现代公关言语及其运用准则①。＂言语＂，不同于＂语言＂，＂公关语言＂实为＂公关言语＂；现代公关言语交际和一般言语交际有密切联系，现代公关言语运用准则要接受一般言语交际原则的制约，前者是后者的具体化，也是对后者的补充；现代公关言语运用准则也适用于非公关言语交际，但二者有区别。

his paper, in the light of Practice', treats modern public-relation language and the principle of its usage, and points out that “language” differs from “speech”, thus “public-relation language” is, in fact, “publicrclation speech”. Modern public-relation speech communication and the usual speech communication arc closely connected, and the principle of its usage should restricted by that of the usual speech communication. The former is a specified form of the latter, and its supplement as well. The principle of the usage of modern public-relation speech also applies to non-public-relation speech communication, but there arc differences between the two.
