A novel β-Cyclodextrin derivative bearing mono-(6-anilino-β-cyclodextrin)(6-anilino-β-CD) was synthesised by a convenient method with 45% yield, and the hostcompound was charaCterized by 1H-NMR, FT-IR spetra and elemental analysis, etc. Thespectral titrations have been performed in aqueous solution (pH=7.20) to give the stabilityconstants and thermodynamic Parameters for the supramolecular system formation of someamino acids with host compound.
