Researches on organic geochemistry of the siliceous rocks of Taiyangdins Group indicate that the biological mother body of the organic matter, which is closely correlatedwith the gold, is primary marine bacteria and algae. This conclusion coincides with the factthat in these siliceous rocks large quantity of cyanopacteria and green algae are preserved.Furthermore,positive correlation between gold contents and quantity of fossilized organismsin the siliceous rocks denotes that marine bacteria and algae play important roles in the formation of source beds of the Laenma Gold Deposit.
