摘要 There are different layout schemes for 330-500 kV switchyard with one and a half breaker configuration. However, as far as the UHV switch-yards for power plants concerned, it is obvious that some layout schemes take up too much area and some others are not compatible with the general layout of power plants. In order to overcome the above problems, a new aligned switchyard layout scheme, i. e., all circuit breakers and disconnecting switches are aligned in one row is discussed in this paper.
