摘要
This paper introduces the development and the related work of the assembly oriented computer aided design.Presents a representation scheme of a compound-body to the computer and focuses on the research of computer aided graphic assembly technology for 3-D objects.As an example,the application of graphic assembly technology to robot modelling is given.It shows great potentialities of the technology.
