武器装备除了具备传统的作战性能外,还应具备适用于作战的保障性能.作战性能和保障性能统称武器综合性能.综合性能要依靠传统工程技术及专业工程技术的综合,用系统工程的方法去解决.

Apart from its traditional combat characteristics, weaponry must be provided withsupport characteristics which is suitable for combat. The integration of its combat and sup-port characteristics may be called comprehensive performance of weaponry which can be ob-tained in dependence on the integration of traditional engineering technologies and special en-gineering technologies, i. e. system engineering method.
