论赵孟頫人品——兼论改朝换代中的历史人物评价

赵孟(兆页)本是一位很有建树的政治家和杰出的书法家,只是因为他在改朝代的历史大变动中,身不自己地当了异朝大臣.于是,从古到今,不少人对他发难.由人品到书品予以一贬再贬,甚至全盘否定.由此,本文提出自己不同看法,认为赵孟(兆页)是一位无可争议,值得称颂的历史人物,在他的身上闪烁着一个汉民族知识分子所具有的不可泯灭的光芒,强加给他的一切不实之词应予推翻.

Zhao Mengfu was once a statesman with great achievements and an outsanding calligrapher. However, being in the turblance of dynastic changes,he served involuntarily as a minister of the enemy regime. From then on,quite a number of people have been blam-ing him for his 'betrayal'. His character as well as his artistry has been suffering deprecia-tion and even total repudiation. Therefore, the author presents in this article a different view, thinking that zhao is undoubtedly a historical personzge who deserves great praise. What was shining in him was the indelible virtue of a Chinese intellectual. Any false com-ment imposed on him ought to be reversed totally.
