System Design of Shanghai Teachers University Campus Computer Netwrok

本文结合上海师范大学的具体情况，提出了上海师范大学校园计算机网络的体系结构、拓扑结构，并给出了方案的实施原则和建成后的校园网所能提供的服务，如：电子邮件、图书资料检索、Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ服务等．最后对总体规划作了必要的可行性分析．

In this article, the authors describe the architecture and topology structure of a campus network based on the actual case of Shanghai Teachers University. FDDI(100MHz) is used as the backbone of SHTUNet and TCP/IP as the host-host protocal. Also, the authors provide a designing principle and possible services the network may offer, such as electronic mail, Internet services, etc. At last, an analysis about the feasibility of the overall system design is given.
