Discovery of black fluorite in the Huayuan Pb-Zn deposit and its geological significance

Fluorite is a common accompanying mineral in hydrothermal deposits. Generally,much of fluorite is light-coloured or colourless, and the grey black one is rare. However, agreat deal of black fluorite has been discovered recently in the Huayuan Pb-Zn deposit ofHunan Province. The black colour is caused by containing bituminous matter.
