摘要
在酸性介质中,Ce(Ⅳ)在过量的Fe(Ⅱ)中被完全还原后,余下的Fe(Ⅱ)在PH4.6NaAc-HAc缓冲溶液中与邻二氮菲生成桔红色络合物,溶液的颜色随Ce(Ⅳ)量的增加而呈线性降低.借此建立了分光光度法测定Ce的新方法.其表观摩尔系数为1.1×10 ̄4L·mol-1·cm-1,Ce(Ⅳ)量在0~3.2mg/L范围内服从比尔定律.本方法在用于测定稀土氧化物中的Ce时,结果满意。
t was shown that cerium(Ⅳ ) can be reduced by excess iron (I ) in acid mediumand residual iron (I ) forms an orange - red complex with phenanthroline in NaAc -- HAcbuffer (pH4. 6). The decrease in colour is proportional to the amount of Cerium (0 ̄3. mg/L). The maxium absorptional wavelength is 510nm and its apparent molar absorptivity is1.1 × 104 L. mol-1. cm-1. The results are satisfactory in using this method for the determination of trace cerium in rare earth.
