The basic concept of plastic concrete is introduced, and the feature and superiority of using the plastic concrete for building the cut-off wall of an earthen dam are discussed. A synthesis on the main applications and the examples of engineering practice in the foreign countries are summarized. Some proposals are put forward for references to the domestic engineering designs.
