In this paper, the fabrication and welding procedure of Kap Shui Mun bridge main span steel structure for Hongkong new airport project is introduced. Particularly, The applying of trial as-sumbly method for steel structure components which meets the HSFT bolt joint accuracy requirement effectively is discussed in detail.
