The vulume intesral equation and Fourier transform are applied to solve thetransient response of a dielectric square cylinder. if the dielectric square cylinderis only two-dimensional inhoniogeneous and the source is three-dimensional,Fourier transformation is used to reduce the three-dimensional source into thesuperposition of two diniensional source.
