摘要
Studies demonstrate that the Chouniukou Formation of the Qilian Mountains represents a lithostratigraphical unit across series, with its lower part belonging to the Middle-Late Visean, middle part to E-zone of the Early Namunan, and upper part to the Middle-Late Namurian. The Mid-Carboniferous boundary passes through the bedding plane between the middle and upper parts of this formation.
