Abstract We always think that the 'Wu Zhu' coin which has inner rim and smaller charactors was belong to Shu State of Three States Period and call it 'Shu Wu Zhu', now the author think it is not correct. According the tombs of Three State Period, this kind of 'Wu Zhu' had not been found. The eariest time when it appeared in the tomb or voalt was in the early period of West Jin Dynasty. Because of the wars after wars, all the three state had weak national strength and poor people, so it was impossible to cast the 'Wu Zhu' coins even bigger than 'Zhi Bai' coins, the 'Shu Wu Zhu' was cast by Wang Rui who was the governer of Yi Zhou in Jin Dynasty.
