名山县位于成都平原西南边缘。面积614平方公里,人口25万。距成都130公里,川藏公路纵贯县境。地貌以平坝为主,浅丘相间。气候温和,夏无酷署,冬无严寒,年均降雨量150毫米,山灵水秀,四季常青。
Mingshan is located in the middle of western Sichuan, and 130km away from Chengdu the provincial capital. The county has an area of 614 square kilometers and a population of 250,000. Mingshan has abundant mineral reserves because of its geographical location. Grain crops, edible oil and tea are its major agricultural products. Among Sichuan's leading tourist attractions, Mount Mongshan, Baizhang Lake and the Black Bamboo Forest are in Mingshan county. Preferential policies have been issued by the county government to welcome friends and guests to invest and make tours in Mingshan.
