Mr. Huang Pei was born in 1942 in Zizhong of Sichuan Province. he was a renowned calligrapher and landscape painter. His paintings of misty clouds estblished his position as a master painter in his field. As a child, Mr. Huang Pei followed an established painter for instructions. His extraordinary talent soon found expression in his pairings of misty clouds, which were an improvement of traditional Chinese Painting never made before. Mr. Huang pei's works were deeply rooted in history. In his painting the influence of Ma Yuan and Xia Gui of the Song Dynasty is substantial, though he did not limit himself to delicate objects and became a painter of rivers and mountains, of waterfalls and clouds. His combination of perspective skills of the East and the West created a style dynamic and modern. Mr. Huang Pei's works are highly appreciated in and out of China. Nine Dragons Entering the Gorge is treasured by the Tiananmen Management Committee and is on display in the hall of the Tiananmen Mansion. The Goddess' Summit at the Wu Gorge and Memorias of Lijiang were presented as gift of the Chinese Government to former Prime Ministers of Japan. His artistic experience aroused the interest of the media as well.
