Abstract After retranslating three pieces of datas of weights system in WENHAI,the lexicographical work of West Xia,the author thought that there were two kinds of weights system in West Xia which was influenced by the Song Dynasty.He draws a conclusion that one tael in weights system of West Xia was about forty grams.This conclusion was obtained by weight of the coins and silver ingots.
