Abstract First.author introduced gold money excavated in Shouxian Countyin several years.then.he took a conclusion that the early shape of gold money of Chu should be the round gold cake and the earliest time using gold currency in Chu State should be at the middle of Spring and Auturnn Periods.After many years.gold money of Chu should be the gold plate which imitated the shape of tortoiseshell.The method of pourinfg cast tortoiseshell gold plate had used the single mould.
