摘要
金属成矿省自本世纪初提出以来,其含义和研究内容已有很大发展。现已把过去在一定地质构造单元内以一定成矿特征标定一个成矿省(区、带)及其规律的做法,发展为随地质历史推移,在一定“成矿构造场”内出现成矿相对平衡态时而形成金属成矿省的活动论新概念。其研究内容也随乏赋予动态演化的内容,即以成矿地质构造背景、成矿构造场、成矿相和矿床等四个等级体制进行定量化,按各级次形成的完善程度及其相互叠迂关系作为成矿区划和成矿远景评价的依据,从而极大地提高了金属成矿省研究的科学性与实用性。
Since the metallogenetic province was proposed by de Launay(191), especiallywhen“the evolution of metallogenetic province”was accepted as a topic to be discussed atthe 29th IGC,great advances have been made on its implication and contents. The implica-tion of the metallogenetic province has been changed from a static idea, under which the de-lineation of a metallogenetic province depends on certain features of mineral deposits incertain geotectonic units,to a new dynamic concept which believes that a metallogeneticprovince was formed at a time when relative metallogenetic equilibria were reached in acertain“metallotectonic convergence”with lapse of geological time. The study of metallo-genetic province has also been granted new dynamic substances. These include the quantifi-cation of the following four ranking systems:the geotectonic setting of the metallogenesis,the metallotectonic convergence, the metallogenetic phase and the mineral deposits,andthe assessment and prognosis of metallogenetic prospects on the bases of the perfectibilityand interrelations of these systems. Consequently,the scientificality and practicality of thestudy of the metallogenetic province have been greatly improved.
