本文介绍自制管式频敏变阻器的参数计算方法，并推荐了在吊车上电动机起动用频敏变阻器的选择。经济实用，便于推广，且性能优于铸铁片频敏变阻器。

This contribution presents parameter calculation method of pipe frequency -sensitive rheostat made by Shandong Aluminium Company. It recommended frequency- sensitive rheostat used in start-up stage of motor in crane. The frequency-sensitive rheo- stat is economical and prectical. It is easy to use and its performance is better than cast iron frequency-sensitive rheostat.
