本文从调速水泵节电原理和实验分析，论证水泵在高效区不一定是水泵系统最佳运行工况，否定了调速水泵始终在高效区运行的论点。提出鉴定水泵运行节电效果不能单看水泵效率高低，而应以吨水电耗大小来评价。

This contribution describes electricity saving principles and experiment analysis of speed governing water pump. In demonstrates that it is not certainly the optimum operational state of water pump system when water pumps are in high efficient districts.The paper negates that speed governing water pumps always run in high efficient districts.It is suggested that electricity saving efficiency of water pump running should be evaluated according to electricity consumption amount per tonnage of water ,but not only according to water pump efficiency.
