探讨了英语动物词在天文学、动物学、植物学、医学、军事科学、技术科学、人名学、传统成语、明喻、引喻、成对词、谚语和格言以及在诗歌、儿歌、寓言、标题中的运用，并进行了初步的语言学分析．
This paper discusses the application of the English animal words in the fields Of sciences such as astronomy, zoology, botany, medicine, military affairs, technology and anthroponymy, in idioms such as similes, allusions, words in pairs, proverbs and'mottes, and in literary works such as poems, nursery rhymes, fables and titles, with their rudimentary linguistic analysis simultaneously being made.
