Commentary of the Study on YE Xie from 2000 to 2008 (Part Ⅰ)

新世纪初叶燮研究在文本内容、研究方法和治学视角等方面都取得了重大进展,较上个世纪取得了长足的进步。2000年来七八年时间中,学界对之前叶燮研究的回顾与整理,对《原诗》的反思与质疑等,持续不断;围绕《原诗》中的循环论、中心主旨和英雄史观,学术界的争鸣与探讨也十分激烈;在国内比较研究日趋深入的同时,中西比较研究也全面展开,异常活跃。文章对存在诸多问题、隐藏的不足及可努力的方向等提出了自己的看法。

At the beginning of the new century, studies on YE Xie have achieved greater considerable progress on text content, research methods and research perspectives than that of last century. During the 7 or 8 years after 2000, the revision and sorting of the foregoing study, the reflecting and questioning to The Origin of Poetry, and other activities has been on continuously. There have been fierce debates and discussions in academia about the cyclical theory, the main idea and the ＂Great Man＂ theory of history shown in The Origin of Poetry. With the further comparative studies domestically, the Sino- western Comparative studies has been in full swing and active. The paper proposed its views on the existing problems, the hidden deficiency and the direction for deeper studies.
